General



2020 General Election

The next General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
Uniformed and Overseas Voters may apply for an absentee ballot between January 1 thru October 31, 2020. All other voters may apply between August 11 and October 28, 2020.
Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

Early Voting

Early Voting will be conducted at the Judge Black Annex.
Dates are: Wednesday, October 21 thru Saturday, October 31, 2020
Hours are: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Saturdays - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Community Voting

Community Voting Sites will be conducted at the following locations:
Blennerhassett Volunteer Fire Department
Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department
Vienna Community Building
Old Williamstown Elementary
Dates are: October 21 through October 31, 2020
The hours are the same as above.
Any registered Wood County voter may vote at any of the above locations. If voting on Election Day, however, you must go to your precinct location.
Poll workers are appointed by the Republican and Democratic Executive Committees. If you are interested in being a poll worker please contact our office at 304-424-1860 and we will direct you to the appropriate person to sign up.

Primary

2020 Primary Election

The next Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

Uniformed and Overseas Voters may apply for an absentee ballot between January 1 thru June 3, 2020. All other voters may apply between February 18 and June 3, 2020.

Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

Community Voting

Community Voting Sites will be conducted on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 2 through Saturday, June 6, 2020
The hours are the same as above.

Lubeck Elementary School
Mineral Wells Elementary School
Vienna Community Building
Williamstown High School (Door 22)

Any registered Wood County voter may vote at any of the above locations. If voting on Election Day, however, you must go to the following precinct locations - Click here for a list of the precincts.

The attached Absentee Ballot Application must be printed, signed and submitted to the County Clerk by Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
