Meeting Room and Park Shelter Reservation Policies

On June 15, 2017, the Wood County Commission, in an effort to properly maintain its park shelters and meeting rooms through an ongoing maintenance program, approved a new fee structure for county park shelter and meeting room reservations.  The updated fee structure will go into effect June 15, 2017 for those wishing to reserve park shelters or meeting rooms.
  • Payment in full is required at least 7 days prior to the reservation or reservation will be forfeited.
  • If park shelter or meeting room is reserved less than a week in advance, payment is required at least 24 hours prior to the reservation or reservation will be forfeited.
  • We accept check and cash payments only. Room rentals on weekends/holidays will be assessed an additional fee. Refunds not available within two weeks of reservation.
  • Reservations can be made by contacting the County Administrator's Office by TELEPHONE ONLY at 304-424-1976. NO EMAILS PLEASE.
  • Minimum $25.00 fee for all non-profit entities.

If you wish to make your payment in person, please feel free to go to Room #205 in the Wood County Courthouse M-F 8:30am-4:30pm Please bring cash or a check.

For reservations please call the County Administrator's Office at 304-424-1976. Reservations by email will not be accepted.
