Primary

2024 Primary Election

The next Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Voting hours are 6:30am – 7:30pm

All voters may apply for an absentee ballot via application between January 1 thru May 8, 2024.

Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

Early Voting

Early Voting will be conducted at the Judge Black Annex.

Dates are: Wednesday, May 1 thru Saturday, May 11, 2024 Hours are:
Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Saturdays – 9:00am to 5:00pm

Community Voting

Community Voting Sites will be conducted at the following locations:

  • Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department
  • Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department
  • Vienna Community Building
  • Williamstown City Building

Dates are: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 through Saturday, May 11, 2024 The hours are the same as above.
Any registered Wood County voter may vote at any of the above locations. If voting on Election Day, however, you must go to your precinct location.

Poll workers are appointed by the Republican and Democratic Executive Committees. If you are interested in being a poll worker please contact our office at 304-424-1860 and we will direct you to the appropriate person to sign up.

General

2022 General Election

The next General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Uniformed and Overseas Voters may apply for an absentee ballot between January 1 thru November 2, 2022. All other voters may apply between August 16 and November 2, 2022.

Voter Registration Deadline is Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

Early Voting will be conducted at the Judge Black Annex. Dates are: Wednesday, October 21 thru Saturday, October 31, 2020 Hours are: Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm Saturdays – 9:00am to 5:00pm
